The American Heart Association’s BLS Instructor course is designed to prepare people to become Basic Life Support instructors. This training is required to become an instructor with the American Heart Association. Anyone who wants to become an instructor can take this course. The ideal candidate would be motivated to teach, facilitate learning, and ensure that students acquire the skills necessary for successful course completion.
