¨ aging issues, and
¨ holistic guidelines for the management of common chronic illnesses.
Discussing aging issues along with programming implications will help you provide more respectful care with wellness enhancing goals and realistic expectations.
As we learn to serve others throughout the cycle of life, we come face to face with their mortality. The process of dying, use of hospice services, and DNR issues are explored in an effort to prepare for the inevitable.
Dynamics in response to grief often become complicated and distressing in group living or work situations. Understanding the stages of grief and loss provides a framework for compassionate interventions. Learning to create memorials and rituals can help people express their feelings in healthy resolution of their loss.
