Personality disorders frequently go undiagnosed. Their presence will produce distress or impairment in occupational functioning, self identity, and interpersonal relationships.

This unique course uses imagery to illustrate the myriad of boundary issues experienced in personality disorders. Detailed information will assist you in identifying the characteristic behaviors, communication patterns, paradigm differences, and relationship issues commonly associated with various personality disorders.

Guidelines for interacting with clients will be presented and discussed. These guidelines will  offer helpful information in establishing boundaries and maintaining healthy therapeutic relationships with people who have personality disorders.

This course offers valuable insights into the dynamics of personality disorders to nurses, social workers, administrators, program managers and direct care staff who work in residential settings, day programs, hospitals, nursing homes, and home health settings.
