Shame & Emotional Abuse
| No dates are currently scheduled |
Shame is a spiral that can lead to the depths of despair, isolation, neglect, and rage. Many people we serve have long-standing issues with shame. Some have experienced the effects of emotional abuse as a victim, and others have become abusive themselves.
Understanding the relationship between shame, emotional abuse, boundaries, and self-esteem helps us to recognize the effects of negative shame energy.
This powerful training identifies all forms of emotional abuse. Role-playing scenarios teach safe and effective methods of intervening when emotional abuse occurs.
The use of imagery provides insight on how emotional abuse affects self-esteem. Techniques helpful in restoring self-esteem are reviewed and practiced.
This unique workshop offers both theoretical and experiential education to nurses, social workers, chemical dependency counselors, and direct care staff.
