In order to be effective in their roles, managers and supervisors need both management skills and leadership qualities. They are often promoted to their positions without having any formal training, causing frustration and additional stress to an already difficult position.

Conflict is inevitable in the workplace! Learning the skills necessary to resolve conflict is an essential step towards becoming a more successful manager. Through theory and experiential excericse you gain a new perspective about the value of conflict and are able to develop expertise in handling conflict.
Managing Time
What manager has enough time? Learning to manage your time effectively and efficiently is the first step in accomplishing your goals. Gaining awareness of how your time is spent gives you insight about how your energy is being used and enables you to make changes in the management of your time.
Establishing Priorities
What to do first? Your ability to prioritize helps you adjust your work load so that you are staying focused on accomplishing the most important tasks first. Establishing priorities also helps you to juggle many tasks at one time to keep your work load flowing.
Improving Employee Performance
What are the hidden influences that affect employee performance? Learn the 16 reasons your employees do not do what they are supposed to do. Your ability to respond to performance issues helps your employees give the best they have to offer.
Developing Leadership Qualities
The binding of shared visions and values gives purpose and direction to the mission of an organization. You will discuss concepts of intention, challenge, experimentation, and celebration and their roles in the practice of leadership.
