Creating Positive Energy in the Workplace

Wednesday, August 8th 9:00 am - 2:45 pm

All too often the places we work are filled with negative energy. Mental illness, personality disorders, addictions, chronic pain, and challenging behaviors produce an environment with high levels of anger, fear, frustration, anxiety, and helplessness. Together, these contribute to negative energy in the workplace.

Negative energy diminishes your creative ability and erodes relationships with your colleagues. Negative energy cannot build self esteem, increase empathy,  or infuse hope in relationships. Whatever your goals, it is positive energy that allows you to reach them! This class offers you a way to diffuse negative energy instead of fighting against it, trying to control it, or working frantically to change it.

Using imagery to protect your boundaries, you can move away from negative energy and remain emotionally centered. You will learn techniques to create positive energy including meditative movement techniques which combine exercises with affirmations. These techniques will be useful to you and you can teach them to the people you serve.

This unique training is especially helpful to site managers, job coaches, nurses, and program directors. It can be useful to anyone who is interested in creating positive energy in their workplace.
