Management Skills for Group Home Supervisors
| No dates currently scheduled |
Now that you've been promoted, you may notice a change in people's attitudes. If you once worked in the home you now supervise, things may seem a little awkward between you and the people who were your peers and now are the people you supervise.
This awkwardness doesn't take up much of your time, because you don't have time to think about anything, much less finding out what's up with your friends. There's a bewildering array of new things to know.
Spend a day getting your head in the game and your feet on the ground. In this fast paced, interactive, learn-by-doing session you're going to find out how the system works. You'll have state-of-the-art techniques for getting yourself organized and working with people effectively. You'll know how to deal with conflict and how to set up your team to avoid it.
You will experience a unique day designed to enhance management skills essential for your role as a group home supervisor.
