This is a follow-up class to the Writing Behavior Programs course that has been previously offered. It is important that participants have attended the initial training session prior to this class.
This highly requested development and consultation class is the next step in writing behavior programs.
The importance of assessment to drive the behavior plan is highlighted. The behavior plan continues to be the foundation to support the specific programs.
Participants will spend much of this class engaged in exercises to practice identifying function of behavior, outlining interventions and supports needed in behavior plans, and writing specific methodologies for behavior programs.
This will be an interactive class with most time spent in active participation exercises and discussion.

About the instructor
Wendy Selnes, MA, BCBA Wendy is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She holds a master's degree in Clinical Psychology with a minor in Child Psychology. Wendy has twelve years of experience in the field of human services. She is designated as a QMRP and fulfills the qualifications of a Mental Health Practitioner. She is a Partner and Senior Behavior Analyst with Brih Design, a consulting firm which offers support and services to people who exhibit difficult to manage behaviors. |

Continuing Education
This course is designed to provide 6.5 contact hours to nurses and 5.4 continuing education hours to social workers. |
