Heartsaver First Aid

The Heartsaver First Aid course will teach you general principles, medical and injury emergencies, and environmental emergencies. The course helps students learn First Aid skills, and experience case-based scenarios in a realistic setting. Students successfully completing the written and skills examination will receive a Heartsaver First Aid card, valid for two years.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid are essential skills for all staff working in human service settings. These courses are taught by American Heart Association credentialed instructors. HCS offers additional American Heart Classes, please contact us for information.

Course Information:
  • Pre-registration is required
  • Register early! Class size is limited
  • Payment must accompany registration form
  • Video/audio taping of courses is prohibited
  • All classes begin on time. If you arrive late, you will be asked to reschedule and be charged the full amount for the class
  • Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be given an American Heart course completion card which is valid for two years.
Cancellation Policy:
  • Cancellations must be made no later than 5 business days prior to the course
  • The full course fee will be charged if cancellation is made in less than 5 business days
  • Registration is transferable to another person
* ASL interpreter is available for this class
Notice is required 14 days prior to the class if interpreter is needed.
